Initial HLO

Background

This course is design to provide participants with the following skills and knowledge, offshore helicopter operations and general safety, features of Helideck landing areas, Helideck safety equipment and procedures, role of the HLO and Helideck team, communication procedures, helideck emergencies, basic meteorology and relevant legislation and acts.

Objective

Upon sucessful completion of this course, delegates will be deemed competent to work as a Helicopter Landing Officer within Indonesia.
